Premise: Four guys answer tough sports questions from humorous categories in a season long quest for glory, and a trip to the All-Star Game and Super Bowl.

Rules: Two teams out of the 20-team Ultimate Fan League play each day. Each round has nine categories. The visiting team throws a rubber ball at the nine video monitors trying to hit the category they want.

Any ball that hits a used monitor or misses the board completely is a "Foul Ball." The team loses control, and is subject to the taunting of the cast, opponents and studio audience. In round one, both teams try to buzz in to answer questions worth 1, 2, and 3 points. Each category has one question of each value, and the value is deducted for an incorrect response. The team hat got the last question right throws the next ball. The "Mystery Sport" gives the teams a chance at an extra 5 points if it is swept in either round.
SPEED BALLS: Bil asks a question with multiple responses: "Name as many NBA players who have scored over 20,000 points as you can in 10 seconds." Each correct answer blurted out in 10 seconds scores 1 point.
After 5:55 of play, the "Home Team Challenge" is played. Each team tries a 5, 10, or 15 point question about their home teams.

Round 2 has points doubled, except for the mystery sweep bonus. After 5 minutes, the teams play the 2 minute warning. This round tests contestants' overall knowledge: A sports question is asked worth 10 points: "What golfer placed second in the Masters' Tournament for the past three years?" A 5 point question, also a jump-in, is asked (the "Get a Life question") The follow up to the last question might be: "Dr. Heimlich devised a maneuver to prevent what?" Most of the time, the link is fairly obvious, and causes laughter from the audience. The team with the high score at the end of this round moves up in the standings and wins prizes.
TOURNAMENT: Five teams are in each of four divisions. The team with the most wins in each league and the two runners-up with the best records advance to the final week of play. In the final week, the six teams played single elimination: Monday: Quarter-Finals (WC #6 vs #4) Tuesday: Semi-Finals (Mon winner vs. #2)
Wednesday: Quarter-Finals (WC #5 vs #3)
Thursday: Semi-Finals (Wed winner vs. #1)
Friday: Grand Championship
