Renaissance Man *Synopsis: LAST EPISODE BEFORE 2 HOUR SERIES FINALE! The Doctor, must impersonate several members of Voyager's crew in order to free the ship's valuable warp core and deliver it to the profiteers who threaten the captain's life. Webmistress's thoughts: Very convincing story. I especially loved the confessions the doctor made before he believed he would decompile. In this episode, the doc showed how intelligent holograms can be. He was smart enough to get passed every one of the Voyager's security precautions, steal the warp core and mask his trail, while also leaving a coded message in the form of music. It kind of makes you wonder what the doctor's been doing in his spare time. Janeway was right though, he should not have taken the warp core. I don't believe they would have actually killed her if he didn't comply. She was too powerful a hostage. This episode was very ingenious. It wasn't what I thought the previews were showing, which looked like another mutiny story. The webmistress gives this episode an A+! Your Thoughts Give me your thoughts! |
