*Synopsis: Workforce Part II
New Episode While The Doctor and Ensign Kim defend the ship, Chakotay and Neelix transport themselves to an alien power plant, in an attempt to locate and convince the abducted Voyager crew of their true identities. Although Tuvok has sown seeds of recognition with Seven of Nine, the others are oblivious to the past, and put Chakotay in imminent danger until he can identify the three ringleaders and reveal their trade in human cargo. Webmistress's Thoughts: Since I missed part I, I only know part of the episode. It seems as though the crew were abducted, and their minds erased. They were sent to work for an alien civilization. I really liked the relationship between Janeway and her newly found boyfriend. Since Janeway and Chakotay never really materialized, I thought it was quite interesting to see Janeway in a girlfriend role. Until she found out she was the captain of a starship, she would have spent her whole life with him, in one place, a home. When she regained her memory, although not mentioned in the episode, she must have remember Mark, her boyfriend on Earth. This and her duty to the crew, was probably what drew her back to Voyager and continue their mission home. It was good work on Seven's part to be curious about the "well being" of the workers. It was odd to hear her being called Anika Hansen, her human name. I doubt she will keep it now though. Overall, this was a pretty good episode. B+ Your Thoughts Give me your thoughts! |
