After attending the Embellishment Bead Show in Portland and being bedazzled by all the wonderous fellow beaders, beadwork exhibits, beadwork being worn by everyone and all the fantastic goodies being offered, we were bone tired! So off to Cannon Beach we went for 4 wonderfully laid back quiet beading, bonding and exploring days!!
Haystack Rock, a protected bird sanctuary with nifty tidal pools and
Karen feeding sea gulls.
Kristi taking a break in our little front yard.
Karen stringing her new Mirrix loom, one of the many goodies she captured!
Kristi starting a new piece with her beadwork station and Ott Light.
Our very own fireplace, kept us busy chopping wood etc!!
Kristi got a neat wolf print picture, but L@@K just above the picture is her loomed piece "Wolf Eyes"; it is amazing!!
Kristi does dishes in our teensy kitchen!
A long day of exploring and hiking!!
Next year, we plan on having the apartment too; the dining room table is surrounded by windows, most excellent light to bead by!!
The view of the ocean 600 yards away from the turret room. We plan on doing the bead retreat again next year! Want to join us?
