1)  Question... What is the "grade" shown in the "Boxes for Sale" page?
Answer... All boxes are graded on a scale of 1 to 10. A grade of 1 is the worst condition, a grade of 10 is excellent or MINT condition. For example, a grade of 2 may have heavy rust, fading or dents. A grade of 8 may have minor high edge wear, spot wear, light scratches and rust stains. A grade of 9 has very little wear, surface has a wet look and feel slick.

2)  Question... Why are some boxes so much more expensive than others.
Answer... Price is answer factor of condition of the box as well as its rarity. Some boxes are sought after by many people, but since they are so very rare, the price sometimes goes up.

3)  Question... Are boxes with rust or missing paint any good to buy.
Answer... Rust takes away the value of a box and so does missing paint, it lowers the grade of a box and the price.

4)  Question... Should I touch up any missing paint.
Answer... I don't think anybody should try and touch up any paint inside or on the out side. Makes the box look bad don't touch up.

5)  Question... Is there any way to remove paint from a box that has been painted complete,
Answer... I don't know of a way to remove paint but to try to scrape it off with you finger nail, very slow any may not work.

6)  Question... Cleaning lunch boxes.
Answer... I use ''GOO GONE'' it cleans the box and does not remove paint don't rub real hard and it also cleans tape and gummy sticky stuff and leaves a great wet look,

7) Question... What boxes should i collect?
Answer... You should collect the boxes you enjoy and if you can get ''Mint'' cindition boxes GET THEM! They are getting real hard to find!

8)  Question... How do you remove some Marker, marks?
Answer... Some told me they used a eraser from a pencil, I hope this works as i have not tried it so be careful!

Grading Lunch Boxes...

Condition:
Grade 10 Mint Store stock new w/ original price tags.
Grade 9 Near Mint  Very little wear, surface has wet look feels slick.
Grade 8 Excellent Minor high edge wear, spot wear, light scratches & rust stains.
Grade 7 Fine Normal rim & spot wear, small dents, light rust & feels dry.
Grade 6 Good  More than normal spot & rim wear, large dents.
Grade 5 Good  Heavy wear on both sides, dents, light rust inside.
Grade 4 Fair Only one side good for display.
Grade 3 Poor Neither side is good for display.
Grade 2 Bad Heavy rust, fading, dents, no handle, bad inside.
Grade 1 Terrible Rusted or painted beyond recognition.

WARNING! - I DON'T TELL ANYBODY TO BUY BOXES LOWER THAN A GRADE 8 ,UNLESS IT IS A RARE ONE AND YOU CAN'T FIND IT ANY WHERE ELSE, YOU WILL NEVER BE HAPPY WITH LOW GRADE BOXES BUY THE HIGHEST GRADE YOU CAN .
