Can this be a Veery ?

According to Joel Geier there are only a couple of previous records
of a Veery in Lincoln Co. OR, both during winter months.
At least one bird similar to the one shown below
was observed twice in June/July 1999 and once in July 2000.

The image on the right is a Veery copied from eNature.com for comparison. The four images below were taken on a rainy day in July 2000 Three of the images were taken in heavy shade.
