CDG: A superb disc with excellent performances and an
incredible playlist. The songs flow continuously; and Dylan is in
top form, particularly his harmonica playing. The acoustic set is
one I keep going back to.
rmd: A prime representation of the dramatic leap in quality
of Dylan's concerts during 1992. Bob is singing out his nose at
times, but it works well with the somewhat amorphous arrangements.
At other points his vocals are downright inspired. It has all of
the chaotic spontaneity, funny looseness, and charmingly
unprofessional feel many of his shows of the late 80s and early
90s, but it also has enough of the intense focus and masterful
craftsmanship of his more recent live material to please
perfectionist fans. A very nice quality audience recording from a
very distinct and turbulent time.
