INTO THE FLOOD

ITS 1003/04 [T-470]

Capital Center (Largo, MD); January 15, 1974

Tracklist: Most Likely You Go Your Way, Lay Lady Lay, Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues, I Don't Believe You, It Ain't Me Babe, Ballad Of A Thin Man; Stage Fright, The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down, King Harvest, This Wheel's On Fire, I Shall Be Released, Up On Cripple Creek [Band]; All Along The Watchtower, Ballad Of Hollis Brown, Knockin' On Heaven's Door; Times They Are A-Changin', Don't Think Twice, Wedding Song, Just Like A Woman, It's Alright Ma (I'm Only Bleeding); Rag Mama Rag, Loving You Is Sweeter Than Ever, The Shape I'm In, The Weight [Band]

NOTE: The CDs carry the title "It Ain't Me Babe," rather than the "official" title.

rmd: No better than the circulating audience tapes of 1974 shows. In other words, not good. Includes all Band tracks, but missing the last four Dylan tracks. (MK)

CDG [Band]: Only a fair recording which benefits from judicious use of EQ, but a pretty good mix, far better than some line recordings from about the same time. The performances are solid and representative of Tour '74. An enjoyable listen ,but not one you are likely to go back to regularly. The packaging is unimaginative.
