NOTE: This CD does not contain the entire circulating recording, which also includes the concert's 3 closing songs. A fan edition including the complete recording, such as the remastered Festival Hall, Brisbane, 03/15/1978, is clearly preferred.
CDG: A fine sampler from the early part of the 1978 World Tour. The real disappointment is the sound quality; a once-excellent soundboard tape has been mishandled and incorrectly mastered. But the sound is still quite good, and several of the performances excellent. Still, the official Bob Dylan At Budokan better represents this phase of Dylan's performing.
rmd: While Dylan is not in his best vocal form, he has a lot of energy. While no tracks are class, and, as often happened in 1978, things sometimes get muddled, this is a good listen. Sound quality is very good.
