No Lowell tape circulates (and none is known to exist outside Dylan's vaults). The complete New Haven tape circulates as New
Haven 1975. The incorrect attribution apparently stems from Dylan's dedication of "I
Dreamed I Saw St. Augustine" to the residents of Lowell, a comment best interpreted as an
oblique Kerouac reference. (Peculiarly, the song is apparently omitted from this project.)
