NOTE: These recordings pose a discographical challenge, and, except for the May
session dates provided by Krogsgaard, none of the Rundown recordings can be dated with certainty. This listing relies
principally on Dundas' 1999 reports. The two sets of tracks listed in italics duplicate each other, but circulate in
conspicuously different sound quality; the differences are apparently due to separate mastering efforts from
different generations of the same underlying recording. By some accounts, Dylan plays piano on the Springs demo, although those reports
may confuse the 1978 and 1979 Springs demos. Although the original commercial boot claimed to compile all the known Rundown rehearsal recordings,
the set does not include the first two tracks from the December 30, 1977 recording, according to the Dundas listing. The final track
is not listed in the original packaging.
