Most people considered this the greatest flaw of the Top 100 Films List. Robin Hood was missing and at Ain't It Cool News it was considered a travesty. So I knew I had to see this film to know what was going on.
Oddly, the film has a funny coloring to it that makes it special. It seems perfect for all of the solid colors the costume designers used. Errol Flynn shines in his green tights and totally hams it up.
The story is the classic tale and it has it's tongue-in-cheek humor that will give everyone the giggles. It just seems weird to think this movie was made over fifty years ago and is still as good today as it was than.
The only thing lacking is blood and guts, but it makes it a family movie and that's always a good thing, isn't it? I give The Adventures of Robin Hood a B+.
