Black Dog

When it comes to action flick, I can tolerate a lot of crap. All I need is a few laughs and few explosions and I'm happy as a Sumo in a Vegas buffet. During this movie I realized that I was interested in it for no other reason than that I really like Charles Dutton. He's a hell of an actor and even with his itty bitty role, he was good.

This movie could've only been made with Patrick Swayze. He's the only one without enough dignity in Hollywood so that he should know better. Meat Loaf is the best as the illegal trucks operator, Red. If he plays his cards right, he'll be showing up quite a bit in small supporting roles like this. Randy Travis' role could've been played by anyone. He's no Dwight Yoakam.

Next time someone in Hollywood makes a low budget action movie. Please keep the family values out. Just make the guy really greedy and that's all we need. I give Black Dog a
C.
