The Borrowers

Any movie that relies on it's star attraction as John Goodman must have something else going for it. Here we have fantasy fun for the kiddies. It's not really my type of flick. I would've turned it off early, but I have to give at least a decent review.

The borrowers are little people that don't steal, they borrow things from the big world. Credit cards work as doors. Birthday candles for torches. A pea for a meal. All those things we find kinda cool.

It seems like a good premise, but it just gets too long and outlandish in the end. I can't stand the entire milk factory scene. We never know what year it is or even close to what it is. Or where it takes place. For some reason the borrowers have British accents, but no one else does.

I don't recommend this to anyone, but small children. I give this film a D.
