Terminator 2: Judgment Day

The single greatest Schwarzenegger movie ever. One of the few films to actually surpass it's predecessor in quality. This is the summer action film we all love. This is the bomb, baby.

Arnold returns, but this time as a protector of John Connor (Edward Furlong). Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) is locked up in a mental hospital and longs to see John. Robert Patrick as the T-1000 is one of the scariest movie villains ever.

The scenes that show just Schwarzenegger and Furlong talking are some of the best of the movie. Forgot the million dollar special effects, I like the heart-to-heart conversations. But the scene where Schwarzenegger says "Hast la vista, Baby." is just great. The T-1000 shattering into a million tiny pieces of mercury-like metal.

The haunting future is always in the back of our minds. We want the heroes to succeed. We know they can. I mean if we had to trust a trio of people, who better than a kid, a robot, and a nutcase?

Jim Cameron is a wonderful director and he shines with the great action sequences of the film. After The Terminator makes it to present day, the movie is a not stop thrill ride of action fun. I give Terminator 2: Judgment Day an A.
