Uncle Buck

This is one of the greatest comedies ever. It has heart, laughs, and the great John Candy. It's one of those movies you can watch again and again and never get tired of it.

Candy is Buck Russell. A crude bachelor that volunteers to babysit his nieces and nephew while their parents are out of town. No one in the family likes him, but their in a tight position and need someone on short notice. Buck is the last person they choose and we find out why rather quickly.

The one scene that stands out in my mind is when Buck has a conference with Maisy's principal. Candy is on fire in this scene and will leave tears of laughter in your eyes. If one scene needs to be remembered of Candy this is him at his finest.

No other actor could've done this role. It was Candy's from the beginning and he took it to a level no one can reproduce. He's just one of the greatest.

I give Uncle Buck an A-.
