DIANA AH NAID

 Japanese 3 piece Mach Pelican （日本人）obviously like their music hard,fast,and punky! They were extremely energetic throughout their set! ライブの後、ちょっと恥ずかしかったが、ギターとヴォカルの方とちょっと話した。で、来年の3月に日本の全国ツアーの予定があると言いました。みんな聞きに行ってね！Diana Ah Naid (オーストラリア人）was also impressive.Her voice is unbelievable!

JEBEDIAH

 Jebediah (オーストラリア人）played lots of their new stuff which will be coming out on their next album sometime in November, including the new single ANIMAL. They also played older songs like HARPOON and LEAVING HOME which were great to hear live (as always).Jebediah are one band whose songs really grow on you. The more you listen to them, the better you like them. Or maybe that's just me.

 Custard (オーストラリア人）never fail to please! This show was great!

POWDERFINGER

 I don't like too much of Powderfinger's (オーストラリア人） new work, but I went to this show in the hope they'd sing some of their older stuff. Unfortunately they only sang a few older songs like LIVING TYPE and PICK YOU UP. Something For Kate (オーストラリア人）were mellow as always.

THE OFFSPRING

 The Offspring (アメリカ人）played a really good range of songs at this show -lots of the old and lots of the new. Apparently they were recording the show for a live album! Eskimo Joe (オーストラリア人）were the surprise of the night-I really enjoyed their punky fast style!

POLLYANNA

 This was the first time I'd seen Pollyanna (オーストラリア人）and I wasn't disappointed! Their pop/rock mix was really enjoyable. 78 Saab (オーストラリア人）were enthusiastic, as were Audiofile (オーストラリア人）who both did great jobs as support bands.

SPIDERBAIT

 Spiderbait (オーストラリア人) once again played to a packed Newcastle Uni crowd.As usual it got hot pretty quickly in the BOTH,but the energy Spiderbait were giving off seemed to fill the room so much so that the heat was barely noticable.Maybe it's just me but I don't think the Resin Dogs were the best choice for this support.A fun night anyhow.

SOMETHING FOR KATE

 I really enjoying watching Something For Kate (オーストラリア人）play. They are an easy band to listen to, and the mellowness is a change from the norm.CAPTAIN, as expected, received a huge response from the crowd, as did the new single ELECTRICITY.

 This was the first night I'd seen Aussie bands for a while, so I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the BOTH. I was amazed with how into the music the vocalist of Skunkhour (オーストラリア人）was. It was great to watch!! So much soul...
