Welcome to the Nintendo Pokémon Hideout

Pokémon Frequency Chart

I have concocted a chart of Pokémon appearances for blue, red, and yellow. Below is the KEY to using this chart. This chart was taken from Nintendo Power issue125. Few minor adjustments have been made. Enjoy!

M: An M means that there are many of these Pokémon found

F: Capital F indicates that there are a few or 1 in the game

E: This Pokémon never appears in the wild. It must be evolved into it.

C: The Pokémon must be picked in one of the game sequences.

f: Lower case f indicates that it can be found by fishing for it.

N: This Pokémon can not be found in that version of the game.

*: This Pokémon is found in the Unknown Dungeon or Rocket Game Corner. Also look to see if there is a note at the bottom of the page. Since I only have Blue and Yellow, I could only make corrections on those two games. Please e-mail me if you can correct any Pokémon Red information.
