Pika lovers! You're day has almost arrived! Pikachu's Special Edition is on its way to the stores! Here is a little background on the game before you buy it. The wait is finally over. I reserved this game in early August!
Pokemon Yellow is basicly the same as Pokemon Red/Blue except that in Yellow, Pikachu is your first Pokemon and Gary chooses an Evee. Another great feature in Yellow is that you can watch Pikachu follow you! Turn around and you can check Pikachu's mood! Another outstanding feature, is that you can make the ultimate Pokemon team! You no longer have to crave the other two rare types of Pokemon(depends on who you pick-bulbasaur, charmander, squirtle)! In Pokemon Yellow, you can find people who are willing to give you these rare Pokemon! There is also a Colosseum 2! Here, you compete in organized tournaments with rules and regulations. The divisions are as follows:
Petit Cup-Pokemon between level 25-30; under 6'8"; under 44 pounds
Pika Cup-Pokemon between level 15-20; Levels of all Pokemon can not exceed 50; Mew not allowed
Poke Cup-Pokemon between level 50-55; Levels of all Pokemon can not exceed 155; Mew not allowed
In Pokemon Yellow, Jessie and James make an appearance as they try to steal your Pikachu. Gary's Evee also evolves according to the way you battle him. If you lose the first battle(in the lab), Evee wil become Vaporeon. If you win at the lab and west of Viridian, Evee will become a Jolteon. If you win at the lab but lose at west of Viridian, Evee will become a Flareon. If you are really attached to your Pikachu, I suggest trying to make Evee evolve into Vaporeon.

One thing that you will have to get used to, is that Mewtwo is located in another area of the Unknown Dungeon! Look hard, you want to catch this rare masterpiece of a Pokemon!
