Without the experiences in our pasts we might never realize the full value of our gifts today. From all the people that have entered my life and I've shown the door, I have learned. From all the wrong turns, I have learned the right direction. For any chaos experienced, I have drawn a life of peace. The sweet joy of a quiet life with my son is my reward for roads taken with a pure heart. I have tasted life and found it rich and textured on my tongue. I gaze into a roaring fire and behold the sword of flame therein. I cannot reach it from where I stand. Instead, I must enter into its own dimension. I call forth the force behind the flames, the elemental energy of the experience that is fire. I open to the full force of its power and vow to honor the gifts it brings me. The gardians of the flame, these fine warriors of fierce spirit and tender mercies, these protectors of the purest intention, reach forth from the flames in clear alliance with my Self. I take their hands and step into the eternal, inner flame.
