DayDreaming
Sitting at the beach…lost in my dreams,
Watching the random flights of the seagulls
Listening to the sound of wave after wave,
Knowing they are trying to reach me…yet not afraid
Feeling the cool breeze touching my skin,
Tiny bumps growing,
Is it from the cool breeze?
Or is it from the thoughts that are traveling in my mind?
My eyes are closed,
praying that I will be able to hold onto this moment
~~forever~~
Not wanting to let it go
Not wanting to share it with another
What has brought me so much peace?
The thought of my lover
So far…yet so near
I am able to have him appear in my thoughts at random
And a smile comes to my soul
I know we will be together again soon
And it shall be
As if we were never apart
