My dreams of you.
Silent
flowing like a river.
A secret place I keep of you.
I see you in dreams.
That is the only YOU that I see.
When I close my eyes at night
I can have you next to me.
I can escape into my own world with you
in these dreams that I have.
I see your eyes as if they were staring back at me
I can feel your touch.
See those days that use to be.
In these dreams,
I never want to wake.
Blinded by what the day
Must take.
When I open my eyes
to see you not here.
I quickly close my eyes
In hopes that you’ll appear.
In these dreams I have
There are no nights
only days
and the sun always shines
our way
There is no sadness
no tears to cry,
No worries of tomorrow,
No goodbye.
In these endless days with out you,
it is harder than it seems.
But I can always close my eyes.
And see you right here,
In my dreams...
