LAMB IN CABBAGE
2 Lbs Lamb chops, or other lamb meat with bones
2 Lbs Cabbage
2 1/2 Cup Water
1 Cup flour
2 Teaspoons Salt
20 Whole black Peppercorns
Cut the meat in serving sized pieces, slice the cabbage, and bring the water to a boil
Layer the meat and cabbage, with meat at the bottom. In a pot sprinkle salt, pepper and
flour on each layer.
Pour the boiling water over it, and bring up to a boil again, then turn down the heat and
simmer for 1 - 1 1/2 hour.
Serve with boiled potatoes, serves 4.
This is a old recipe from Norway, it is very tasty.
