"A book on the ancestors and relatives of President Eisenhower, revised in 1955 by Dr. Heinz F. Friederichs, and published by Veriag Degener & Co., Neustadt/Aisch, West Germany, names Beckenbachs and families related to them in this country. Among these references are two christenings of children of Hans Peter Eysenhauer by his first wife, later identified as Anna Beckenbach.
The christenings were in the Reformed Church of Eiterbach. The godfathers were Nicolaus Beckenbach of Eiterbach, 7/27/1673; and Hans Beckenbacher, of Eiterbach, 10/11/1674.
