Alex has turned into a very caring and sensitive young boy.

Paula continued homeschooling Alex this year, and he is now a very good reader for his age.

Alex turned 8 years old on July 17, 2002.

His love for trains seems to now be playing second to an interest in dinosaurs, and he can name more of them than his parents!

Alex played his third season of T-Ball this spring.

Recently, Alex has astonished us with his ability at math. It is not unusual for us to be driving somewhere when he will blurt out an equation like "13 time 13 equals 169." We have to stop and think about it, and we always find that is is correct.
