Physically fit. Driven by the "Imperative," Zentraedi directive programed by the Robotech Masters which induces a need to enter combat. Studies of this phenomenon are still being conducted, but have revealed very little aside form the explainations provided by Exedore. Beran has channeled this programed killer-instinct into his combat abilities as an RDF pilot and has used them to his advantage. However he seems to contain his agressive feelings and allows them to build up inside, resulting in frequent displays of mindless aggression, often resulting in several minor, and occasionally severe, injuries to those around him. Subject has denied any form of professional counseling thus far, prospects of accepting: comical. |

Typically a passive individual, he is very loyal to his friends and devoted to ensuring their safety but when he gets into combat, the Imperative takes control and he becomes a raving, psychotic, lunatic; fed by his unending resource of adrenaline and his crazed, animal-like frenzy whenever he feels the thrill of combat. |

A well seasoned Zentraedi officer, his devotion to duty under the command of Breetai eventually led him to the ranks of the RDF, as an effort to integrate Zentraedi into the fighting lines and policing forces in the Control Zone. His excellence in the art of combat has earned him a reputation and the honor of being placed in a special ops group, the 3200th. His tendancy to go crazy when in combat has earned him the nickname "Kill Crazy." Despite his unpredictable nature, he is an excellent fighter and well liked by his fellow human pilots. He will fight anybody, human or Zentraedi as long as he can fight. He has grown quite at home with human customs, except for the concepts of love and marriage. He has proven himself time and again to be worthy of wearing the RDF patch on his arm. His only career drawback is his Zentraedi heritage. Many high command believe that Zentraedi should not be trusted to fight along side human troops, especially in command positions. To do so is said to produce an unstable element, a particularly bad thing when the Zentraedi in question has an RDF mecha under his or her control. Vice Admiral Hunter has fought this fear however, and has already organized the 23rd Squadron. (The squadron being comprised entirely of Zentraedi.) KC's clearance to be allowed into the RDF Air Force was one of a few special cases that Hunter personally fought for. All hopes of integrating Zentraedi among human forces has been abandoned, and debate continues as to whether or not pilots like KC should remain on their current assignments or be recalled to the Robotech Factory. |
