I just bought the remastered verion of Phantasm from MGM Movie Time. I recommend that you buy this because it has remastered digital stereo soundtrack, plus 4 minutes of never before seen footage! I think the footage was an alternative ending.

It starts out they show mike in the mausoleum after he'd been seperated from Jody and Reggie. He enters a room full of caskets and quickly and shuts the door. Then he hears someone in a casket pounding and yelling for help. It sounds like Reggie. So Mike is trying to open the casket, then the door behind him opens. It's Reggie, and he asks Mike, "Who are you lookin' for?" Then the casket starts to open. They struggle to close it shut. Then Mike says, "I need to find my brother!" Then in the next scene, Jody and Mike are walking down the mausoleum, and they find The Tall Man standing right there! Jody has the shotgun and he shoots The Tall Man. It doesn't effect him though, because he keeps walking towards them. Jody keeps firing the shotgun, but it's no use because The Tall Man punches Mike and he falls to the ground, and he grabs Jody by the throat and holds him against the wall. The Tall Man says, "You think you go to Heaven?! You go to US!" Then Mike is remembering how the Tall Man hates cold. Right when The Tall Man is about to kill Jody, Mike breaks a glass cased fire extinguisher and sprays The Tall Man with it. The Tall Man screams and drops Jody. Mike keeps spraying him and then The Tall Man lets out a final scream and then KA-BAM-SPLAT!!! He EXPLODES and his yellow blood splats all over the walls!!!

Pretty cool, huh? Try to find it somewhere!
