The Tailed medicine was tied by Irish Contributing Fly Tyer, Lawrence Finney.
Lawrence's Notes: "This is a fantastic fly for fresh run Salmon and Grilse, for Sea trout or steelhead. It is ideally used in the evenings especially after a spate, works well at the head and tail of pools.
When cast in do not draw the fly through the water let it go round the arc and as it comes to the end of the arc short retrieved of figure of eight, but be ready for the smash take.
The Salar hooks are usually enough for the fish to hook itself securely, as I have never had to strike into a fish just gently but firmly lift the rod up to the tension."
