The Makerel Shrimp was tied by Irish Contributing Fly Tyer, Lawrence Finney.
Lawrence's Notes: "This is a marvelous Dollaghan fly fished in the peaty rivers early in the morning or just as the light is fading. It’s a good back end fly for the Salmon and seatrout rivers. The fly is based on the famous seatrout fly the Dark Makerel."
