Note: I originally tied this fly as n ornament for Christmas gifts. It was put inside a clear glass Christmas bulb. I had a couple that I didn't particularly want as a display that were put in my fly box. I took one out this week, fishing the salt at Hoodsport for the Chums moving back and forth along the shoreline, readying to make their run up Finch Creek. Sure enough, it took a couple nice chums. I thought the name was appropriate, since it's a christmas colored fly and was used to fish the tide.
