| Body | 3mm Gold Bead, Using Fluorescent Green tying floss, apply a long bunch of white Marabou along hook shank, then remove hook from vice and turn the opposite direction. Continue winding Fluorescent green floss about 'inch on the Marabou feathers. Note: It is easier if you wet the marabou while doing this. As you are applying this part of the tail gets stiffer. Now apply a strand of Mylar Tinsel securing at tip of the tail. ie: end of green floss with a few turns and a little super glue. Cut thread and return hook on vice the correct way. Now wind the Mylar Tinsel along the tail and on to the hook shank. I cover the Fluorescent Green tail & Mylar with clear epoxy glue. Once dry, apply a few turns of White Cactus Chenille (Fine) and tie off. Apply Fluorescent Green Cactus Chenille tying off behind gold bead. Now select a portion of White Marabou for the Wing ( Optional as with the tail section). Put a couple of strands of Veniard Krystal Flash to give that added attraction and secure behind gold bead. Tie off and apply a little super glue on the thread.

The object of this design is to Stop the Marabou Tail from winding around the hook bend during casting or while the lure enters the water, and also in creating more room to apply additional attraction material on the tail. |
