The Royal Treatment is an original fly from Oregon fly tyer and fly fisherman Joel LaFollette. The photo to the left, which was taken of it under water, gives you a good idea of how enticing it might be to Steelhead. Click on it for a larger view. Joel's Notes: "The Royal Treatment was first tyed in 1995 while staying at North Junction on the Deschutes. The following morning it accounted for two beautiful wild fish during a spectacular fall sunrise. I figured I had received the Royal Treatment and so it was named.
I am currently working on other flies in this series but will withhold them until they too are proven winners. For updated fly patterns and fishing reports visit www.royaltreatmentflyfishing.com." |
