Sinamox Spey is an original fly from Oregon fly tyer and fly fisherman Joel LaFollette. See Joel's notes about it below and you can find out more about him and his flies at The Flies of Joel LaFollette .
Joel's Notes: "I ran into Dan Callaghan one day a year or so ago and was showing him a new patterned I had tyed and fished on the Deschutes. He asked what I called it and I replied it didn?t have a name yet but I had just taken a nice fish at Sinamox below Shears Falls with it. He replied, 'Sinamox is a good name' and so it was.
I am currently working on other flies in this series but will withhold them until they too are proven winners. For updated fly patterns and fishing reports visit www.royaltreatmentflyfishing.com." |
