| Hook | Salmon Double Size 4 |
| Body | Hook shank weighted with lead wire; Yellow tying thread. Mixed Colour Pack Veniard Dyed Cock Pheasant Tail. Tie on bunch of Orange Veniard Dyed Cock Pheasant Tail for tail followed by longer strands of Yellow; then add bunch of Red followed by Yellow. Attach Red and Yellow for Wing, then tie on a few strands of the darker coloured feathers at each side of the hook shank. Change thread to Fire Orange and tie on small bunches of Pink Marabou going around the hook shank completely. Tie off neat head with the Fire Orange thread.

This pattern was originated and tied by Leon Guthrie of Galashiels, Scotland. Although it is tied on a double hook, it should be equally effective on a single.
