Leon's Egg Sperm Cluster was originated and tied by Leon Guthrie of Galashiels, Scotland to imitate the clusters of eggs that many bait fisherman use successfully for salmon and steelhead. Many fly tyers today are using epoxy and beads to add "realism" to their creations. Leon has been doing it for several years with great success. He has also been prolific contributor to Salmonfly.Net for a several years, and has become known for his creativity and some very unique patterns. You can see many more of Leon Guthrie's originals at The Flies of Leon Guthrie.
