Body | Weight hook shank with lead solder wire. Tie a bunch of short Pheasant Tail fibers at the hook bend and follow by tying on long Pheasant tail fibers one at a time. 6 or 7 fibers will suffice. The eyes are made by using 12lb monofilament nylon, knotted. The knot is covered with hot melt glue to form a ball and it is then colored with black permanent ink pen. When finished making the eyes, tie them on the hook shank near the hook bend. Now tie on Lureflash Superbug Yarn. The Color Code for this material is DK TUPS (BY 2), which is an Orange Mix. When applying the superbug yarn, use it to raise the fitted eyes in an upward position. Create a larger mound at the head of the shrimp. Now tie on red copper wire behind the large mound and continue tapering the superbug yarn to the hook eye. Tie off and cut yarn. Now take a strip of Clear Magic Shrimp Foil and place it behind the superbug yarn mound. Use the Copper Wire to hold the foil. Now bring the foil back towards the hook bend to create a Concertina while applying another turn of copper wire to hold. Do this 4 times to create the Concertina Effect, then lay the Rest of the foil towards the hook eye while winding the rest of the copper wire. Tie off and cut wire. Now, finally, apply Golden Peasant Tail Tippets at both sides of the hook at the eye. I have used yellow thread for finishing but better to use orange. Now finish off the pattern by using a Velcro Hook Tool to tease out the Superbug Yarn. See also Top View Tied on Double Hook and Side View Tied on Double Hook.
