BodyTie on any colour Body Antron Wool and build to form body shape, leaving room to fit large Eye's later. Tie on UNI-Mylar 3/64'(Pearl) and build over body antron wool and again tie off. Now simply attach Turrall's (Insect Eye's), self-adhesive raised type to either side of hook shank. Form inward to hook eye. Now mix a small portion of Clear Rapid Epoxy Glue and apply between eyes and under the eye's to fill the gap. Wait until the glue is about to set while applying and remove hook from vice. Rotate by hand to ensure glue doe's not run. When dry apply further coating to the body of the hook using the same technique. For a look at a view from the top, click here: Top View.
CommentsThis is a good deep water searching attractor pattern. Takes can be very aggressive. Works especially well in fast flowing slightly coloured water.

This pattern was originated and tied by Leon Guthrie of Galashiels, Scotland. You can see more of his originals at The Flies of Leon Guthrie.
