July 3, 6:30PM BELLEVUE HIGH SCHOOL - The 2007 Seattle July 4th Tournament got off to a great start with a very quick well played game #1. Going into the 7th inning both pitcher had a shutout going. In the top of the inning the Rainiers managed to scratch out a single run on a ground out with runners on the corners and one out. In the bottonm of the inning Portland collected 3 singles to push across the tying run and then won the game on an attempted double play ball - the winning run scoring when the throw was wide to firstbase. July 3, 7PM Russel Road Park, KENT - In a rematch of the 2006 championship game Joe Miller was once again the ace for the Mariners. Miller pitched a complete game and allowed only 2 hits in the 3-0 win. Last July the Mariners defeated the Tugs 2-1 in the Tournament Championship game with Miller picking up the win and tournament MVP honors. MVP: Joe Miller, pitcher - Mariners

July 4, 10AM Island Crest Park, MERCER ISLAND - The Mariners threw up 5 runs in the first inning and never looked back in running their tournament record to 2-0. Tyler Abbott was 3 for 4, scored 3 runs score and made a diving catch in right field with the bases loaded to save two runs. Jim Radovich pitched six strong innings to pick up the win. July 4, 10AM Island Crest Park, MERCER ISLAND - The Rainiers battled back from down 3 to win 6-3 and improve to 1-1 in the tournament. MVP:- Rainiers

July 4, 12:30PM Bannerwood Park, BELLEVUE - Portland scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to get their second win of the tournament in their last at bat. MVP: - Portland

July 4, 1PM Island Crest Park, MERCER ISLAND - David Orozco hit a 3-run homerun in the first and drove in the go ahead run in the 8th to lead the Cannons offense. Sean Dickey pitched a complete game, striking out 8 to get the win. MVP:David Orozco, OF - Cannons

July 5, 7PM Bellevue High School, BELLEVUE - Brian Bradshaw pitched a no-hitter striking out 6 and walking 6 to get the win for the Astros. The Astros collected 11 base hits in a strong offense performace. MVP:Brain Bradshaw, P - Astros
