The Nature of a Deity

Deities are powerful entities, but do have some limitations. They gain power through the belief and devotion of followers. The more people that believe in them and the more powerful that devotion, the more a deity can accomplish. Deities can generally only sense what is occuring where they have followers. Deities can generally only affect things that they can sense. Deities are not all-knowing, but have little difficulty understanding almost anything they are aware of and wish to understand.
