Match Report Celtic 2 - 0 Dundee Utd
|
Celtic's favourite son Henrik Larsson is rumoured to be about to put pen to paper and sign a new 4 year deal. If so he will certainly become the clubs highest paid player ever. This is a major coup for both Celtic and it's newly appointed board. In the space of a few days they have secured the services of a popular head coach and the fans favourite player. This has to be a great decision for Henrik, who is worshiped by the Celtic faithful and will now be paid a salary in keeping with his extraordinary talent.
Fergus McCann is now officially a non-executive director of Celtic Plc with Frank O'Callaghan assuming the role of Chairman and Alan McDonald that of Chief Executive. I would very much like to see Fergus stay on the board in some capacity, it would be a terrible shame to lose completely one who has had such an influence on Celtic's return to greatness. Simon Donnelly was booed by the fans as Celtic cruised to a 2-0 semi final victory against Dundee United. Celtic will play Rangers in the final who also breezed through their semi final against St Johnstone.
