Celtic destroyed Motherwell this evening in a match full of controversy. Henrik Larsson was man of the match bagging four goals however John Spencer's early dismissal undeniably had some impact on the score if not the result. The bad news for Celtic fans is that their 4 goal hero may very well be on his way to the English Premiership. Alex Ferguson has allegedly expressed an interest in the Swedish international who now appears to be stalling contract extension talks at Celtic Park. If he does not sign before the beginning of next season Celtic would be forced into selling the player over the summer to avoid losing him for nothing in June 2000. The price I would suggest should be a minimum of £10 million in the current strikers market. |
