Reports at the end of last week from Norway seemed to pour cold water on the story that Nils Arne Eggen or Egil Olsen would become the new Celtic manager. They claim to have not been approached by the club. It was expected that Martin O'Neill would resign from Leicester over the weekend but that hasn't happened yet. Meanwhile the Swedish press reports
that former national coach Tommy Svensson has been approached by Jock Brown. Svensson is quoted as saying "Celtic is not the very best place to go now in the turmoil after Wim Jansen's departure".
