Harald Brattbakk is rumoured again to be near leaving Parkhead. Rosenborg his former club in Norway are said to be interested in taking him back although it is unlikely Celtic will get the £2 million they outlayed for the striker. Perhaps a better solution for Celtic would be to loan the out of touch striker in order to give him time to regain his form. Harald Brattbakk is player of great quality, he just needs to rebuild his shattered confidence

Takeover rumours are reaching new levels, with the Daily Record sugesting the possible involvement of Paul Allen (Co-owner of Microsoft whose 9% stake is worth $25 billion). The rumour is that Bono wants to join Jim Kerr's consortium and he wants to bring this guy Paul Allen with him. I still think Fergus's original plan of selling the club to the fans is the best idea. The true fans are those who were there when Celtic needed them, where were Kerr and Bono's millions when we were a couple of hours from bankruptcy ? Keep Celtic in the hands of those who love it most, the fans.

Henrik Larsson may become Celtic's best paid player in history if Fergus can get the Swedish superstar to sign on the dotted line and commit himself to Celtic for another four to five years. This has to be a priority and if these rumours are to be beleived it does seem that Fergus is getting his priorities right. Tony Warner played on Saturday as Jon Gould was still not quite 100%. The on-loan keeper is due to return to Liverpool very soon if Celtic to not extend the deal.
