Foreword
The foreword of any book is one of words before the main text. Traditionally it is only that, words, but let me partake of an indulgence in the words and feelings that I wish to portray. I am Ralad and I wish to say this to you my friends, the world is as great and wonderful as you wish to make it. Never fear the idea of cutting away the framework to create a new level of understanding. The world of your reality is only one such world and you have created it on your own and with every other individual on this planet.

I am the spirit friend of the author of this work and she has asked spirit to show you a little of ourselves within these paragraphs. I do this gladly. To those who wonder what madness can this be, I say nought is mad if the mind can accept the idea of different realities. It is this basic understanding of the esoteric or religious concepts that makes every thinking person individual. Spirit is often asked to 'prove' itself to another and one wonders how much proof is needed for the human race. I do not consider this wrong only an interesting point.

There are many in the spiritual realms who offer their services if an individual would partake of them. Love is a constant in this realm just as it can be on your earth. We would like to help in this matter. Ask and ye shall receive is an old axiom, yet I hear little asking regarding this. Those who do ask are always received with open arms, those who do not, we help as well as we can. Spirit tries to encourage all. Not only those who believe, that is not a pre-requisite, but all of you. Love can move mountains the songs say and I have the faith that it does so.

No one religion, dogma or belief is better or worse than the other. Let me tell you the only 'hell' there appears to be is in the minds of those who believe it to exist. Even a small notion of what it is like in the spiritual realm will help, so let me explain a little. In the reality, which is after physical extinction of the body, the spirit survives unscathed from any lessons on earth. Simply put, the lessons are for the earthly realm and you must deal with them there. Once beyond the physical much can change if the realisation takes place.

Realisation and also attitude. Although I have said that all changes it still must be an individual activation. The guides are there to heal and help but the individual becomes the controller of all. All, in the sense of forgiving, retribution and healing. Forgiving oneself as judge and jury is perhaps the hardest of all things one goes through on this spiritual journey. It is you, who judges and sentences the self-that does not mean you need do so but many do.

I say to you then, that much needs to be understood while on earth and we see this being a complex situation if you care to make it. However that too, is not necessary. Simply living and being a good neighbour to others is the best advice one can give. Religious fanaticism does not bring enlightenment nor does good deeds if love is not in your heart. Live and love and love to live is worthy of any person.

We wish to offer you a loving hand in anyway that will help you come to the point of enlightenment and love while you are here on earth. Please accept our help. All are needed in the light- princes and paupers are all equal. All have much to teach and to learn.

Chapter One

Lighten your- load become aware.
Questions, questions and more questions. I hope I can include as much of the channelled work that comes to me as possible in relation to the ideas that we focus on here. I suppose for me, my 'work' on Earth is to help others centre on their own wisdom and power. This usually means introducing them to their own guidance or friends in spirit if you like.

Many people who wish to find out about spiritual matters seem content to allow someone else to tell them what to do or often enough just sit and listen. I am here to say anyone willing to, can, on their own account, tap into psychic and spiritual information. The problem lies in how much power we give others. By others I mean those we seek advice from, whether they be a clairvoyant, clergyman or counsellor.

I am not saying anything untoward about these people. I am, myself a counsellor and know card readers, clairvoyants and psychics who are caring and professional in their work. What I am trying to make a point of, is, that we often do not know we have the power within to help ourselves. My work however involves helping my clients to become familiar with the ways and means to aid themselves. I never imply that they do not seek help if it is out of their or my range of expertise. Common sense is normally an accepted thing . Never put yourself in a position you find offensive or dangerous. That is not to say that the 'new' ways be abandoned because they are uncomfortable or different. As may be seen many things 'new' are not after all in the end....

So my work is to help others come to an understanding of some of these ways in a safe and loving manner. Most often as I suggested, this is done with the help of energies no longer on this Earth. It sounds harder than it actually is and like all learning a matter of trust and application. At this point I will explain what I believe a 'guide' is as an introduction to them.

Throughout history there have been instances of flashes of light or shining beings in dreams and in real time that have imparted messages to the willing and sometimes not so willing! Often they have been called angels which gives them a label and a boundary. From my own experience I have known guides to be deceased loved ones, some have just been able to help and have no personal relationship to myself and then- there are others. The others are those who appear to have had no life on this earth at all. They may be 'extraterrestrial' or as my own guide, never have incarnated anywhere but are pure spirit.

There are certain moral and ethical questions rising from this. My belief is simply that spiritual guidance is for just that. Guidance by a spiritual energy using Light and Love to help a human towards enlightenment I believe, does not include gossip or gambling. Think about it. Perhaps go ahead a little and read the list in chapter 5 about this.

This is not as frightening as it may seem, so stop now and recollect what I have been saying about love and earlier, about commonsense. Right! You see we still have minds of our own and fall into the trap of relinquishing responsibility when it comes to the occult or unknown. 'They' made me do it or 'they' caused that to happen is utter rubbish!

I implore you to read the next few words carefully. I have never known a spirit to harm in any way the person it is in charge of, nor have I seen them mislead them. However, I have seen misinterpretation of messages to the extent where it fitted just nicely into what the person wanted to hear - not what was being told to them. This has occurred consciously and unconsciously in many minds and minds have their own knack of at times, misconstruing information.

I am not trying to dissuade anyone, in fact I wish to make it easier to use information. The matter concerns my friends and I ask that when dealing with them it be understood humans still must take responsibility for their actions. OK often the messages are cryptic or seem to be of little value but that does not mean they are not well intentioned Perhaps the value lies not in the message but in the fact you are communicating.

Now before we go further let me give an example of the type of information I have received. It is written by a spirit who remains anonymous to this day and was written in the space of twenty minutes - dictated if you like, into my mind for me to write. I rarely correct spelling or grammatical mistakes and the style is often a little archaic but the content here is what matters...

"A treatise on created and connected reality.

This is set down this day of our lord and master 15 August 1992. With this begins the first lesson. Who is our lord and master? It is but one's own self that lords and masters-all else is illusion. Illusion is often and perhaps always treated by man with scepticism but illusion is reality and reality illusion. How can one say this when the table you touch, the pen you write with are all felt and seen by your eyes? How does one balance this out with what the mind sees and the heart feels?

Because there is power within man's spirit to create what he most feels is correct. Correctness is not naturally truthful. Truth is not necessarily correct. Within this sphere you live in, all manner of ideas have been created and given power by the collective consciousness of mankind. To think clearly and concisely but individually would create havoc. Havoc stems from so many disconnected or individual ideas that do not balance. Key words here are balance and individual. In harmony both ideas are true and also correct-an individual may think and feel what it likes as long as it is in harmony and balance. ....."

Chapter Three....

.....What about satan and the original meaning? The great Collins speaks again-"Old English, from Late Latin, from Greek, from Hebrew plotter, from sa'tan -" to plot against" . Still nothing more diabolical than what an ordinary, if nasty, man, would be capable of doing. A probable connection with the old god Saturn is also relevant. Lucifer also springs to mind, how does it fair? "Old English, from the Latin Lucifer, light bearer, from lux light + ferre to bear." [As an aside the word lucid comes from the same stem.]

Many such instances are recorded of the way one group may change the understanding of words and for that matter concepts to suit the situation. There is much written elsewhere about the way the early Roman Christians used pagan beliefs to their own end, particularly when it helped keep the local people under control. Can you see the reasoning behind the use of control in such instances ? Fear is certainly one way of taking away [and for the individual, giving ] power. If you have not read the first channelled section it may be worth having a look at what is said about personal power.
