Just did a much needed face lift on the front page. I'm still not certain about the color scheme, orange and purple are tertiary, that is they are at a forty-five degree angles from each other on a color wheel which implies a certain relationship between the colors visually. Right now I think they are ugly together and think I might try adding red somewhere.
Work continues to improve although I'm still being reminded why I quit City Center a year-and-a-half ago. From the frypan into the fire. Been hanging out a lot with my friend Frank Young, who I've known since the early Nineties. We share a lot of interests including comicbooks, movies, writing, music and conversation. He's a very nice man and I appreciate the time he shares with me.
Last week I saw my last two movies of SIFF. On Monday I saw "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari" in a newly restored and excellantly tinted print and Saturday I saw "Bang, Bang, You're Dead!", a meditation on the cause of school violence in America. I promised to post reviews to the friends blog, but then I haven't written the ones from the week before, "Men With Brooms" and "Female Trouble: A Discussion with John Waters". C'est la vie!
