Being a Neurosurgeon
* Always try to treat all patient without consideration to their social
back ground.
* Don't forget that U are in a mission not just U are an employee.
* Don't respond to any insult by patient or the family whatever it may be.
* Don't force any patient to receive your treatment. Medicine in order to
work, patient should believe in.
* Timing of treatment is sometimes even more important
than treatment itself.
* The more the patient is recommended the more the complications
happen. Simple patients
always go smooth and fine.
* Try your level best to learn one piece of info more everyday
* Give as much as U can, believe me U will enjoy it at least as much as U
receive.
* Keep in mind... Even though you are well trained and extremely adept, you are not
the most important person in the world.
* Don't say no hope to the family even if there is no actual medical hope,
MIRACLES still there and they are working, I saw many of
them in my career.
* You must remain humble in your dealings with your subordinates, I
don't need to say about your
bosses.
* Always explain to the family what is going on and make yourself
avail to them.
* Think always of your patients as people rather than as cases and
numbers.
Try to refer to your patients by their names.
* Every now and then feel pain, misery and hurt of patients even though
you must remain objective and strong.
* Touching and holding the patient sometimes are more effective than
drugs and operations.
