or, Miscellaneous Babble About Me

You lot are demanding, you know that? My name, since people seem to think it matters--or else they just want to know who's responsible for this load of perpetual nonsense--is Kristy Kapphahn. I'm a Communications--Broadcasting major at Washington State University in beautiful, metropolitan (okay, so I'm lying through my fingertips here) Pullman, WA. Here's a picture of me. It's a few years old, but that's why it's scanned on my computer, right? Besides, it's not like I change all that much or anything.

I'm 25--though only chronologically in human years, which means I'm actually about 8--and an Aquarius, which only matters if one happens to like astrology. I fit the profile to a tee, but that's as far as it seems to work, because whenever I read my horoscope it never seems to fit even if I try to stretch it. So much for that!

My driving goal, if you can call it that, is to be a filmmaker. What this means in real life is that I run around with a video camera whenever people will let me, and more often than that, I memorise all the little moments that happen around me so I can use them later in a script. Real life, you see, is so much stranger than anything we could make up!

Let's see...what else could you want to know? I'm originally from Gig Harbor, a pretty little place in western Washington, where I spent virtually my whole life, not counting the part where I up and moved myself to Berlin (yes, in Germany) to be an au-pair. I got my Blue belt in karate in April, just before I moved here, which means I will be able to beat up my friends until they keep going without me and learn more cool stuff than me.

Enough already. Back to the beginning!
