Bay Chestnut Silver Dapple Black Dun - brown
PHOTOS (l-r):WW Stratus - dark bay; WW Adhara - chestnut; WW Hermione - silver dapple black; and WW Gullveig - brown dun

All prices are negotiable, depending on what you want done. For any other sized horses (such as Creata Micro Horses, etc), please ask me for a quote.

My specialties: dark red bays, mealy bays, and fjord -like duns, skjevet. I am also working on some nice pintos, but they take awhile! I also like to do dappled colors, but they tend to be time consuming with the airbrush.

I am no longer actively taking orders due to complaints that I take awhile. Occasionally though for the very patient, I will take on an order. UPDATE 1/20/2004: I am re-opening to orders since I am taking a break from school. This means that I no longer have time constraints on me and my time for painting is optimized! YAY! Email me for your next custom paintjob!

Remaking: I don't remake often because it takes a lot of time. Resculpting of manes and tails on the original body may be done upon request, but will be extra.

Due to the time it takes for prepping, for quick turnaround, I will NO LONGER be taking unprepped or raw models unless you are willing to be very patient. Most of the time it takes to complete a custom order goes to the PREPPING and not the painting, unfortunately. I will also not be taking on plastic repaints until I can find better sealers (you don't want your custom to be sticky!). For extra detailing, it may be extra depending on how extensive.

Many of my horses in the galleries are painted by hand. As of July 1999, horses for the most part were being painted by airbrush. The year 2003 brought change - I now use a combination of techniques that include my favorite style of handpainting, as well as airbrush and even pastels in several pieces!

Nordfinn's Olav at NAN 1997, and WW The Alchemist winning a Top Ten at NESE 2004.

How have my horses done in shows:
My greatest accomplishment was winning Reserve National Champion CM Andalusian with a painted DaBar Palomar II, Don Giovanni, WW, at the 1997 North American Nationals®. Other wins have included Top Tens at several NANs®, several championships at local shows, Overall Reserve Halter Champion at BreyerFest Live 1996 with a SM remake, WW Auringon Ari (also a NAN Top Ten in 1999), and several photo show championships. Ari will soon be available as a resin. WW Finlandia and WW Vireeni both Top Tenned at NAN. Nordfinn's Olav (above photo) Top Tenned twice in performance at NAN 1997. WW Tappan Zee won Top Tens TWICE - one in 1997 and another at NAN 1999. At the most recent NAN, WW The Alchemist, WW Austin Powers, and WW Mambo No. 5 all Top Tenned!
I have been following some of my custom order horses, and so far, many have been successful!

  • Valeroso, WW is a mult-NAN qualifier and NAN 2000 Top Ten with Colette Robertson.
  • Sandy Lyles' Altair was a NAN Champ in 2000.
  • WW After Dark has been winning with owner Ann Harris in both performance and halter!
  • Terri Dennis writes that her ISH repaint, Voodoo Princess is am multi-NAN qualifier and photo show winner!
  • Panache Pardon Me recently went to his first live show and came back a champion in his division for owner, Emily Leslie!
  • Altti frá Olafsfjorður was recently sold to Denise Schneider and is already a NAN qualifier!
  • Boris was a Grand Champion of Show! He beat several horses - including most of mine! Proudly owned and shown by Nancy Timm.
  • At the Benefit Changes Live Show, WW Paint By Numbers double NAN-qualified and won a Top Five overall in the CM division before being sent to new owner, Cindi Nakagawa.

NOTE: Nearly all painted horses by Wachusett Willows/Jen (Timm) Al-Beik carry the abbrev. WW before or after their name. The only horses not carrying the abbrev. are usually those who have breed name requirements. I've actually let the "WW" slip during the past few years....
