During the September 2000 Sicily event at Camp Rilea the NWHA was invited to observe a Special Forces Air Drop of approximately 80+ men in four "Sticks". The fighting stopped around 1:30pm as Axis and Allied forces alike hit the beach near the drop zone. It was a fantastic sight and our presence was only possible through both the generosity of the Special Forces and Camp Rilea staff and the excellent relationship with them created by our NWHA event coordinator.
