Enough chatting time Jen, time to give it up," Josh said in a menacing tone. He started to come towards me and suddenly I remembered knife I had in my jacket pocket. "Alright, come and get me,!" I yelled, feeling around in my pocket until I felt the cold steel.
"Ahhh," he yelled as I thrusted the knife as hard as I could through his skin. Eric came running at me but this was one of those times when I seemed to have ten times my regular strength. I turned and kicked him so hard that it knocked him out cold. Josh was rolling around on the floor in too much pain to care what I was doing to his counterpart. "Nikki?, can you hear me," i asked as I shook her.
"Jen," These were the last thing she said before she lost consciousness.
"Nikki,?" AJ asked as he touched her head. We were all standing around her bed after she got out of he 5 hour surgery. I had been the longest 5 hours of our lives. Not knowing if Nikki was going to pull through was very hard. "Mah, Mah," Nikki tried to get out but her throat was very dry. I handed her some ice chips and she took them gratefully. "What happened," Nikki asked with a confused look.
"You don't remember anything,?" Nick asked with a confused look.
"I remember being in the driveway but after that it's all blank," Nikki replied, looking towards AJ for answers.
"Well, maybe we should tell you later when you get your strength back," I told her before standing up, I thought it was time to leave.
"Yeah, maybe it's time to get some rest," AJ said touching her head, we all knew he had no intention of leaving her side.
"Why don't you guys go and get some sleep at home," AJ suggested.
"Yeah Jen, I'll sleep at your place tonight because I don't want you to be alone," Nick said before grabbing my hand. I had a feeling he and AJ were going to be permanent fixtures at our place. Not that I minded at all.
As I climbed into bed that night I got a shiver down my spine. Nick came in to check on me to find me crying. "Need some company,?" Nick asked looking concerned.
"Climb in," I replied as I lifted up the covers. We stayed like that as we slept until I woke up screaming! Little did I know, that Nikki was doing the same thing at that very moment. I didn't know what we were going to do?
